This morning we have a fantastic view of the town of Blanes from the cockpit of the Tangaroa The weather is perfect and the water looks very inviting!!The beach is already looking quite busyNearby the day tripper boats are already picking up passengersIt is time for a well earned swim in the crystal clear waters off Blanes BeachBack to the TangaroaAfter lunch we decide to pull up the anchor and continue a little further up the coast for the nightAs we leave we pass the very secure and protected marina and port of BlanesThe coastline is dotted with lovely waterfront hillside villasApproaching Cap de TossaThe beach, Cala Codolar with the historical landmark of Murall de la Vila Vella, a quaint, walled medieval village in the backgroundCap de TossaThe very popular tourist destination of Tossa de Mar with it’s spectacular hilltop castle ruins overlooking the seaWe pass numerous small picturesque bays such as Cala GiverolaPalamos is another very popular coastal town situated near GironaWe continue up the coast heading for our destination for the night at RosesCala de Roques Planes is a popular anchorage for the locals from the nearby town of PalamosPassing the seaside township of PalamosHeading further north east we approach Illes FormiguesFinally we reach Roses, our destination for the evening. Castell de la Trinitat which was completed in the mid 1500’s has been restored and stands high above the pointRoses is another popular tourist town on the Spanish Catalan coastTourists returning to Roses from a magic day out on the waterWe join numerous other boats on anchor in the Bay of Roses
