As there were still a few cruise ships in the port we decided to leave our visit to Mykonos town until the following day, hoping it will be quieter then. Our day was spent once again catching up on some of the maintenance that we needed to attend to on the boat. On recommendation from a neighbouring boat owner, we ventured a few hundred metres to Matthews Taverna for dinner. This old established family run taverna has been operating in the area for many years. It certainly showed that over the years they have perfected a very good business. The service was very professional and friendly, the wine selection good and and the food outstanding and also very reasonably priced. This was a lovely experience at Matthews overlooking the marina and cruiseship pier. We definately thought we would come back before we leave Mykonos.
