Scrambled Eggs for Breakfast this MorningThe Coastline along the Northern Coast of Limnos Island has much Rugged BeautySidheritis Island off the Northern Eastern Coast of LimnosWell Down the West Coast the Town of Mirina Appears Behind it’s Small Islets at the Entrance to the BayMirina is the Main Port of Limnos IslandThe Medieval Castle Overlooking the Mirina PortOn our Arrival at the Town Quay we were Greeted by a Couple of Local GentlemenOur New Friends Yanis (John), Cafe Owner Naftilos and Panagitus (Ringman)Ringman, the President of the Fisheries Industry on the Island and his Nephew, SokratesOur Friends Organised for us, a Hire Car for the Afternoon and we Set off for a Drive to Moudhros in the South of the IslandAfter Arriving in the Port of Moudhros we all Decided to Stop and have a Late Lunch at a Local Restaurant by the PortQuaint Colourful Fishing Boats were Plentiful at the Moudhros QuayThere were also Plenty of Felines Waiting by the NetsNearly 100 Years ago the Port of Moudros was used for the Marshalling Point for the Attack on the Dardanelles. The Large Deep Harbour was Full of Large Battleships, Hospital Ships and many more of all Shapes and Sizes from the Allied Forces.The Greek Church of MoudhrosThe Town of Kontias is Sited Between Two Volcanic OutcropsThere are many Sandy Beaches all Around the IslandThe Countryside of Limnos is Lush and Green, with Simple Farmhouses and WindmillsLooking West In the Distance, Mount Athos on the Akti Peninsular on the Mainland can be Clearly Seen
