2019-08-07 Isola Budelli via Isola di Razzoli, La Maddalena Islands, Sardinia, Italy

Beautiful morning in Porto Madonna
An early morning paddle before breakfast
Mid morning we move to Isola Razzoli, another small island immediately north of our overnight anchorage in Isola Budelli. Many large super yachts such as this one can be seen anchored throughout the La Maddalena Islands
Joining numerous other boats we anchor in Cala Lunga, a long narrow bay in the south west of the uninhabited island
Our granddaughter shows us her swimming prowess
Isola Razzoli is known for it’s amazing unique red granite rock formations
Anthony is off to explore the bay
The scenery here is extraordinary
At the left hand head of Cala Lunga is a small beach which attracts a lot of the day tripper boats from the town of La Maddalena
Our family are off to the beach
We follow with our goggles and flippers on!!
Betsey added a few pieces to the beach art
Betsey loves to have a picnic lunch under the front awning on the Tangaroa!!
Another swim before our departure
Leaving Cala Lunga on Isola Razzoli we make our way back to Isola Budelli
Returning to Isola Budelli we anchor in the same safe and calm anchorage as we did the previous evening
Anthony is the chef this evening …… barbecued eye fillet and salad
We must try a sea pizza sometime!!
