2018-09-05 Cala Es Canaret to Cala Portinatx, Ibiza, Islas Baleares, Spain

As we intend leaving today we take the opportunity to enjoy a long swim in this beautiful bay with it’s beautiful crystal clear waters
Reluctantly we return to the Tangaroa to prepare for our departure
Once we get ourselves organised, we slowly make our way out of Cala Es Canaret
Continuing north we round Punta de Llevant then passing the popular resort area of Cala Xarraca
Quaint boat sheds near S’Illot d’es Rencli Beach
Caves along this craggy coastline gives lots of shelter from the hot summer sun
Shortly afterwards we approach the familiar town of Portinatx
Portinatx is the most northern town of the island of Ibiza
Portinatx is a small popular resort town with several close beaches offering crystal clear waters surrounded by stunning scenery
We have anchored in the bay of Portinatx on numerous occasions in the past, often waiting for a suitable weather window to cross to either the mainland of Spain or make a long direct trip north returning to Sant Carles de la Rapita, where we have left the boat for the past 3 years

Time to enjoy some exercise testing out the water in the bay
