Looking towards Illa des Bosc just off the coast from Cala ContaLooking back to the popular restaurant at Cala Conta called Sunset AshramAfter a very pleasant few days we make our departureLooking back to to the two islands off Cala Conta, Illa des Bosc and Illa Sa ConilleraAs we head north towards Punta de Sa Torre, we pass Torre d’en Rovira which was completed in 1763 and stands at the entrance to San Antonio BayLooking ahead to the town of San Antonio de PortmanyTo our starboard side we pass the ever popular anchorage of Cala RojaWe continue on to the port of San Antonio A familiar vessel heads towards us ….. built in our hometown of HobartWe decide to anchor in the bay called Coves Blanques near the entrance to the large portNumerous restaurants and bars line the shore of the bayFor us it was perfect to come ashore by dinghyCoves Blanques is a fabulous anchorage as it is close to most amenities of San AntonioWe stop at Cafe del Mar for a drink before dinnerTangaroa is moored in the backgroundLegendary sunset cafes and clubs can be found here Another magic sunset in IbizaThe crowds line the shore to see a San Antonio sunsetWe head off into the town to find the restaurant we had booked for this eveningWe pass numerous tapas restaurants and bars on the wayFinally we arrive at 45 Millas On arrival at 45 Millas we are seated in a cosy corner of the restaurantEdamame soy beans arrive and then we take the Chef’s choice of dishesFabulously fresh oysterA delightful redSuperb scallopsDelicious deep fried miniature eggplantsMagnificent musselsWonderful carpaccio of beefWe finish off with a delicious dessert of baked fruitAs we were finishing our fabulous dinner at 45 Millas, we met a delightful couple at the next table
