2018-06-16 Real Club Nautico de Palma to Cala Blanca, Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Spain

We prepare to depart from our berth in Real Club Nautico de Palma

Another huge cruise ship from Norway in Palma for the day
The Cathedral de Mallorca stands prominently overlooking the large harbour of Palma

San Carlos Military Fort, dominating the port is now used as a museum
After our departure from Palma we travel down the west coast of the Bahia de Palma passing the anchorage, Playa de Magaluf where we have stayed overnight a couple of times before
We continue down Bahia de Palma and pass the very popular, Cala Portals also known as Portals Vells
Just south of Portals Vells is Punta de Cala Figuera which is a very prominent headland with a quite conspicuous lighthouse and radio tower
We follow the coast in a westerly direction looking back to the cape
On Islote El Toro stands another lighthouse which indicates a bar coming out from the nearby Punta de Ses Barbines
We pass the island called Isla Malgrats
Soon we arrive at the very pleasant anchorage of Cala Blanca
Lunch aboard in ideal surroundings
Our guests are looking quite relaxed on their first day out this year
Lots of swimming in Cala Blanca
