2018-06-09 Playa de Magaluf to Cala Pi, Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Spain

We spent a comfortable night on anchor in Playa de Magaluf with some good company
At breakfast time we pull the anchor and prepare to move

Departing the large bay which is on the mid western coast of the large gulf, Bahia de Palma
We cross the Bahia de Palma and head towards the south east coast of Mallorca
A couple of hours later we arrive at Cala Pi which is a small narrow bay between rocky cliffs
To our surprise there was not a boat on anchor in the bay
We were able to find the best position in the narrow bay to drop our anchor
This is a popular bay with crystal clear turquoise water in areas
Some very elegant homes are perched on the cliffs overlooking the lovely bay
It was not long after our arrival that several boats arrived

Looking towards the entrance of Cala Pi
Time for a swim and also try out the new waterproof camera

Lots of fish beneath the water’s surface
We have the company of four yachts remaining in the bay overnight
Dinner cooked aboard tonight is the local popular fish, monkfish which we had with stir fried vegetables
