We continue towards the historic city square of Ciutadella, and head towards the Plaça d’es Born with it’s towering obelisk which commemorates the ‘Any de sa Desgaçia’ (year of the misfortune) when the Turks invaded the city in 1558

Tonight we dine ashore and have chosen a good rated restaurant very close to the portWe decide to go with the tasting menu at Mon restaurantWonderful warm freshly baked bread arrived promptlyIt was not long before a delicious appetizer of chilled gazpacho with melon arrives at the tableWe arrived early at 8.30 pm and at that time there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, then gradually the tables started fillingGood wine suggested by the waiterOur fabulous tasting menu begins……xxxxxxxxBy 10 pm the restaurant was fullLovely dessert wine with our desserts
A wonderful experience at Mon Restaurant finished with an amazing chocolate dessert!!
