This morning we fly to Morocco from Barcelona Airport which is about 172 kms north east of Sant Carles de la RapitaThe best means of transport to the Barcelona Airport is by local busThe trip took a couple of hours and we had to change buses a couple of times which was not a problem as several other passengers we also going to the airportOn our journey we passed many small towns….and lush farming areas….and we passed delightful hilltop villagesWe finally arrive at the airport where we had to spend several hours before our flight to Fez was leavingFinally quite late we arrive in Morocco for the first time at Fez AirportArriving by taxi we check into the beautiful hotel we had booked online, called the Palais Faraj HotelAfter spending so many months on a boat we always like to spoil ourselves with a little luxury before returning homeThe suites were quite generous with a large separate bathroom
A nightcap in the bar was in order after a long day of travel
