Our English dining companions from the previous evening
Our nearby neighbours in Port Vell
Today there is a wonderful multicolour display at the port of the small Spanish cars called the Seats

Once again we set off on the bikes for a day of sightseeing
We make our way to the medieval square of Placa del Rei with some of the the oldest buildings in the city
In the corner of the square by old Roman walls is a bronze equestrian statue of Ramom Berenguer the Great
We secure our bikes for the next stop which is to visit the Gothic Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia
You see some odd things in Barcelona!!
We enter the superb cathedral with a nave and two aisles of impressive height
We enter the Crypt of Santa Eulalia
By lift we were able to ascend to a higher area of the Cathedral
The views over the city were really spectacular from here
We pass one of the many outstanding buildings designed by Gaudi

Next we visit the famous unfinished Gaudi Basilica of Sagrada Familia

Back on the the bike track!!

We decide to have an early dinner somewhere in Les Rambles
We approach the famous Boqueria Market

Once we leave the market we pass one of the famous patisseries of Barcelona

Back on the bikes we head towards the port
