Time to move on after a few days in this lovely area around Portoferraio
Portoferraio, the capital of Isola d’Elba is the most beautiful port on the islandOnce out of the old harbour we continue past the town on our way along the coastLo Scoglietto with it’s miniature lighthouse is close to the entrance to Portoferraio old portPunta Capo Bianco with it’s lovely beach
As we continue west along the north coast we approach Capo d’Enfola
A busy beach near the small town of ViticcioIt appears sailing is a popular sport in Golfo di ViticcioWe pass Procchio with it’s small hillside villages nearbyMarciana Marina, a popular anchorage for sailors travelling along the north coast of ElbaThe ancient tower along the breakwater of the Marciana MarinaThe coastline along the north coast is also quite stunningSant’ Andrea is on the north west tip of Isola d’ElbaFishing from the unusual white rock formations seems to be great pastime for the locals of Sant’Andrea
