The first island we visit is Alicudi which is only 5 sq kms in size with a small village of colourful houses on the eastern hillside

We all are looking forward to a swim
As we arrived we all agreed that we had to have a swim here

Once we had another swim we returned to the the tiny village of Pecorino a Mare
By picking up one of the local mooring buoys we were assured of a comfortable night

We heard on the grapevine that the restaurant called La Sirena was quite good

We all were quite surprised how fresh and tasty the starters were when they arrived at the table

While dining at the restaurant we met famous English food writer Matthew Fort who is currently writing about food around the islands od Sicily. He is travelling between the islands by ferry and around the islands with his Vespar
