29th August 2013 Bademli Limani to Ciplak Adasi This Morning we Wake Up to Find we have Company at Our Stern Ric Enjoying an Early Morning Swim Some Fishermen Pass by There are a Few Tiny Pebbly Beaches in the Channel A Great Way to pass the Time !! A Couple of Day Tripper Boats have Arrived and Almost Everyone from the First Boat is in the Water Already !! It was Wonderful Swimming to One of the Small Beaches in the Channel The Tangaroa in Bademli Limani The Water is so Clean and Clear in this Channel Many Coloured Rocks got Added to My Ever Increasing Rock Collection Back to the Boat ! A Pleasant Way to Spend a Day Together !! The Tripper Boats Start Departing at 4pm A Little Later we Decide to Depart Too and Travel North, as the Forecast for the Wind Conditions had Increased for the Following Day With the Washing Done and Hung Out we Started our 20 Nautical Mile Trip to the Ayvalik Archipelago Our Approximate Two Hour Trip was Fairly Comfortable Although the Breeze had Picked Up Considerably Towards the End Looking West we Could See the Greek Island of Lesvos On Our Approach to the Archipelago the Late Afternoon Sun Glowed on the Cliffs of the Mainland Shore The Shoreline on the Mainland Coast had the most Amazing Geological Rock Formations – They Looked as if They had Just Risen out of the Ground !! Incredible !! We Anchor for the Night Under a Nearby Island Called Ciplak Adasi This Safe Bay has Very Little Apart from a Few Simple Dwellings by the Water This House with a Covered Seating Area Could be a Restaurant The Island Apart from the Few Dwellings Looked Quite Desolate Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
