2018-08-26 Cala d’Hort, Ibiza, Islas Baleares, Spain Another busy day at the popular Cala d’Hort beach Once again today is a very warm and clear day Electric surfboards are the new must have toy !! They certainly can get up to a fast speed ……. and get quite a bit of height out of the water There are a few other boats anchored in the bay The restaurants are doing a roaring trade for lunch today As per normal we enjoyed spending quite some time swimming around the bay Wonderful plant life below the surface Ric decides to scrape a few barnacles from the shaft under the boat The fish were pleased to have a feast!! As the day progresses several more boats arrive in the lovely bay After making a booking earlier in the day, in the evening we leave the Tangaroa to go ashore for dinner After checking out TripAdvisor we decided to try Es Boldado Overlooking Cala d’Hort, Es Boldado has a great position We tie up to the steps to the restaurant which is situated by the quaint old wooden boat sheds The view of the the bay from Restaurant Es Boldado is absolutely fabulous As usual we arrive earlier than most people do in this country The two islands, Isla de Vedra and Es Vedranell, near Cala d’Hort glow in the fabulous evening light The bay of Cala d’Hort is surrounded by quite steep sandstone cliffs We are looking forward to some delicious seafood this evening The Tangaroa has a great position in the bay …… not too far off shore We order one of the house specialities of Es Boldado …. delicious baked fish The staff meticulously remove the bones and serve the fish Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious … great dish As per usual we enjoy a nice Spanish red with our food A perfect evening …. not to mention a full moon We chose a couple of different Spanish sherries to accompany our dessert A lava cake to share ….. Yum Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *Comment * Name * Email * Website Δ
