Thursday 26th July 2012 Knidos to Datca Another Hot Sunny Day in Knidos A Few Gulets in the Port this Morning Very Interesting Information on the Ancient Site in Knidos Wars and Earthquakes Destroyed Many of the Structures at the Site The Smaller of the two Amphitheatres at Knidos with Ric Helping out Again with Some Photography Our Turn to have a Photo Taken A Wonderful View over the Bay Ric is Pleased he Wore his Hat Today as the Weather is Again Quite Hot Looking Over the Other Ancient Port More Boats are Arriving and the Port is Getting Fuller The Ancient Site is Quite Large in Area This was a Massive Building with Columns over 2000 Years Ago Overlooking the Beautiful Bays in the North East of Knidos Fabulous Scenery Looking towards Cape Krio Ric Beside the Remains of the Temple of Aphrodites The Plynth on Which Stood the Staue of Aphrodite It Would have been Interesting Standing in this Spot over 2000 Years ago!
