As we arrive in Cala Portese, there was a beautifully restored Ketch called Altair which after some investigation was 40m long and was built in 1931

A few more boats arrive in the bay, including this sleek 45m racing yacht called Salperton, which is obviously here for the upcoming super yacht regatta out of Porto Cervo
People are starting to arrive at the sandy white beach with the elusive bar in the centre

After spending the afternoon swimming and relaxing in the lovely bay we made the unanomous decision to book and go into La Maddelena port for the night

As the distances around La Maddelena Islands are not great we arrive in the main town less than half an hour later
