Sunday 29th April 2012 Brussels, Netherlands

Today was a day for sightseeing in Brussels. We did the round trip on the hop on, hop off city bus tour, however we did not get off!! Fortunately there was a glass roof on the bus we boarded, as it did not stop raining the whole time aboard. We had purchased waterproof jackets in Brugge to keep us warm and dry which certainly came in handy both in Brugge and here. By late afternoon the sun came out, the jackets came off and it turned out to be quite a beautiful spring European day!! Hence the bright photos!! Our first vist to Brussels and we fell in love with the city, depite the changeable weather!! I suppose we are used to the changing seasons in one day!!
