Ric with friendly and helpful Joey who works for RMYC Our English Neighbours Bid Us Farewell Goodbye Malta Yacht Cub Goodbye to Our Italian Friends Almost All Our Neighbours for the Past Week have Departed The Statue of Our Lady Gmangia Overlooking Malta Before our Departure we Fuel Up at the Floating Fuel Depot near the Yacht Club RMYC with the Msida Marina and Ta’ Xbiex in the Background Fort Manoel on Manoel island Many Flags on the Buildings of Valletta Flying Today In the Foreground is the “Chophouse Restaurant” which we Dined at Last Night Our Departure from Marsamxett Harbour The Westin Dragonara Resort Where Our Friends Leith and Caroline were Staying Anchoring in St Georges Bay Until Military Testing was Completed, we were Spotted by Our Friends who were Enjoying the Last Hours by the Water at the Westin before also Leaving Malta!! Naturally Ric Swims Ashore for a Chat with Leith!! Directly Opposite the Westin is the “Caviar and Bull Restaurant” which we Visited Last Saturday Evening A Group of Young Men Enjoying the Local Water Sports The Boat Slowly Speeds Up for their Hair Raising Ride The Helicopter Involved with the Military Exercise which Held us up for a Couple of Hours Once Underway we Motor North West Along the Malta Coast Towards Gozo Island Unusual Scenery Along the South Coast of Gozo Island A Solitary Limestone Home on the Foreshore of Southern Gozo near Mgarr We Return to the Port of Mgarr on Gozo Island to do Customs before Departing Malta in the Morning The Rugged Point by Santa Maria Bay on the North West Tip of Comino Island Santa Maria Bay is a Good Anchorage for us Before Our Departure for Sicily Early in the Morning Many Churches of the Port of Mgarr Stand Out in the Fading Light Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
