8th June 2014 Loutraki, Skopelos to Skopelos Port

 

In the morning we departed from the port of Loutraki and continued back up the coast of Skopelos and then in a southeasterly direction towards the famous site of the little church on a rocky outcrop that was featured in the wedding scene of the movie “Mamma Mia”. Although the real church was not actually used in the movie, the whole site is quite stunning and well worth our visit. It was quite special being on anchor in the bay beside such a well visited spot!! Following our usual swims and relaxation we continued towards the main town of Skopelos. Once settled in the port we set off to explore the beautiful picturesque town.
