4th July 2013 Ciftlik to Sogut Yachts Lined Up Along One of the Restaurant Piers in Ciftlik On the Left of the Entrance to Ciftlik Limani is the Alarga Sail Yachtclub & Boutique Hotel Ciftlik is a Safe Anchorage which is Sheltered by a Small Island at it’s Entrance The Next Good Anchorage West Along the Coast is Serce Limani where an Ancient Shipwreck was Discovered and now is Displayed in Bodrum Museum. It sank over 1000 years ago and was Loaded with Glass The Rugged Beauty of Serce Limani makes this Bay very Popular with Sailors At One End of Serce Limani is Kaptan Nemo’s Farm Restaurant Which is Quite an Experience Bozukkale, Another Wildly Rugged Beautiful Bay is the Closest Anchorage to the Greek Island of Rhodes The Ancient Castle which Overlooks the Bozukkale Bay and also Across to Rhodes One of the Few Restaurants in the Bozukkale Bay Our Special Little Island not far from Sogut for Swimming and Relaxing The Water here is a True Turquoise Colour and is Absolutely Crystal Clear A Lot of Relaxing and Reading gets done Aboard – Kindles are Popular !! Some of Us Prefer Swimming and Taking Photos !! The Awning on the Bow is Invaluable on the Hot Days The Goats on the Island were Quite Curious to see Who were Invading their Space After Delivering Water and Food to the Goats, Kate Brings back a Few Treasures Found While Swimming, Which of Course were Thrown Back !! Another Goat gets a Better View of Us, Obviously it must be a Mountain Goat !! The Pier at the Sogut Octopus Restaurant is Full of Yachts Tonight Tangaroa takes the Last Spot on the Inside of the Pier Octopus Restaurant in Sogut is One of Our Favourite Places Colourful Boats Owned by the Locals of the Area It is Gin and Tonic Time We are Happy with Our Mooring for the Night at the End of the Pier The Restaurant is Full Tonight and we are Pleased to have a Table on the Pier The Amazing Display of Mezes to Chose from at Octopus Amazing Seafood Filled Squid Fabulous Fish Meat Grilled on Skewers are Always Delicious Dinner Photo at Octopus in Sogut Limani Octopus has Always been Busy – this is Our 3rd Visit Here Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
