29th September 2013 Yalova to Cam Limani, Heybeliarda (Princes Islands) via Pendik Nick and Lois Ready for some Local Sightseeing Another Perfect Day in Yalova A Team of Taxis by the Ferry Terminal was Handy for Us Today On Our Arrival at Ataturk’s Villa by the Sea we were Tempted to take a Buggy Ride The Tale of the Moving Villa !! In 1930 the Revered Ist President of Turkey, Ataturk had His Villa Moved 4 Metres East Instead of having a Branch Removed from the Large Plane Tree which Stood Nearby We were Thrilled to have a Private Tour of the Villa This Famous Ashtray was given to Ataturk by Hitler The Meeting Room of the Villa Overlooking the Marmara Sea Here we are on the Upstairs Terrace of Ataturk’s Villa The Branches from the Plane Tree Again are Growing Close to Ataturk’s Villa Nick Enjoying the Scenery ! The Villa is an Ideal Setting for Wedding Photos Another Bride Arrives! The Turkish Flag is Prominent Everywhere in Turkey Our Next Stop is Termal which is a Beautiful Thermal Area in the Hills near Yalova The Gardens and the Parks of the Area are all Wonderfully Kept There are many Nice Hotels in the Area We also Visit the Sudusen Waterfall near Termal, Yalova Our Friends seem to be Enjoying our Little Excursion Today Keen Salesmen with their Natural Honey and Golden Pollen The Fertile Hills of the Yalova Province Horses and Donkeys are still used for Lugging Goods from Place to Place Once back at the Marina we make our Departure Nick seems Relaxed Enjoying the Warm Weather Heading North Towards Pendik the Cruising Conditions are Perfect Ric thought our Guests would Enjoy a Brief Excursion to the Boat Show While I look after the Tangaroa, Ric takes Nick and Lois by Dinghy to View the Boats They seem Genuinely Dwarfed by this Large Super Yacht The Istanbul Boat Show While Waiting I make the most of the Scenery No Shortage of Colourful Trawlers to Photograph The Late Afternoon Sun is Perfect Today I Love the Rusty Ones!!! Once back on Board we Depart Pendik for the Short Journey to the Princes Islands for the Night Friendly Folk Returning after a Day out Cruising Fishing is Definitely a Favourite Pastime of many of the Locals of the Area The Marmara Sea Apparently has an Abundance of Fish that Travel down the Bosphorus from the Black Sea The Princes Islands has some Amazing Houses for the Rich and Famous of Turkey Back to our Favourite Bay, Cam Limani on Heybeliada Is Our Guests will Sleep Well Tonight after such a Busy Day !!
