After a Couple of Lovely Days we Depart the Small South Eastern Bay on Karaada IslandKaraada Island is a Small Turkish Island in the Ildir Korfezi, North the of Cesme, a Very Popular Holiday Area for Turkish PeopleThe Turkish Flag Proudly Displayed on the IslandThe Plan for Us Today is to Continue North While there is very Little BreezeKaraburun LighthouseThe Rugged Coastline of the Karaburun PeninsularBuyuk Adasi off Karaburun in the North East of the PeninsularThe Small Town of Karaburun IskelesiThe Miniature Harbour Only Caters for Small Visiting Boats if there is a Space AvailableSome of the Cute Little Fishing Boats have Colourful AwningsWith Minimal Facilities for Shopping we Hire a Taxi and go to a Nearby Supermarket for Some Fresh GroceriesCluttered by Tiny Fishing Boats, the Tiny Harbour Hardly Seems Big Enough for VisitorsA Cool Drink in the Local Cafe Before Our DepartureIt Would have been Nice to Spend More Time Here However if the Wind Increases, it Would be Uncomfortable for us to Stay OvernightA House by the Water Almost Engulfed by VinesBefore Entering the Harbour at Foca we Anchor at a Nearby Islet for a SwimOn the Shore at Incir Adasi were the Ancient Remains of an Old PortThis Layed Back Fisherman with Earphones and Listening to Music, Drags a Few Fishing Lines Behind his Small BoatFoca Township with the Conspicuous Castle which is still Under RestorationThere is Not a lot of Space for Visiting Yachts Along the Town Pier so we Anchor in the Middle of the BayAn Unfortunate Boat Owner at the Boat Yards in the Foca HarbourFrom Our Mooring in the Bay we can Watch the World go by!! Locals and Visitors Seem to Enjoy Swimming and Walking Around the ForeshoreThe Town’s Horse Drawn Buggy is a Popular Excursion Around the Shoreline for TouristsThe Houses on the Hillside in Foca by Night
