From our generous balcony we have a very pleasant water view
With a well earned rest after our late arrival, we make our way to the breakfast area
We pass some ornate water pipes which in Tunisia are called shisha (flavoured tobacco) pipes
Heading towards the entrance of the Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Hotel
With the weather cool and overcast today we decide to explore beyond the hotel
We take a walk several hundred metres along the road passing a number of gated hotels
With the unfortunate history of Tunisia we decide not to venture too far
With the darkness approaching we promptly return to the safety of our hotel
Drinks before dinner in the Hotel Bar
Later we arrive in the restaurant for dinner
Ric orders a local Shiraz
Dinner is regally served with silver cover domes
We enjoy a wonderful eye fillet steak with vegetables
Delicious crepes for dessert
As an after dinner aperitif our waiter suggested this wine for us to try
