Across the road is one of many apartment blocks in Playa del Carmen

After spending the day relaxing at the hotel we decided to book a nearby restaurant for dinner this evening

Checking TripAdvisor we made a booking at Oh LaLa

The interior of Oh LaLa is a very pleasant and modern

On recommendation from our young friendly waiter, we decide to try the degustation menu which comprised of 5 small courses

Immediately a delightful starter arrives at the table

A beautifully presented dish arrives which comprised of prosciutto, fresh figs and salad

The next dish of seared scallops with a mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious

Mussels steamed in white wine is one of our favourites

Prawns with a spicy flavour were wonderful

The chocolate dessert was a fabulous way to finish a fantastic dinner at Oh LaLa
