2019-06-01 Casa Andina Premium Hotel, Arequipa to Lima, Peru and to Swiss Hotel, Quito, Ecuador

We are collected from the hotel at 6 am as we have a flight departing at 8.30 am for Lima

Passing the volcano Misti we silently hope she stays quiet forever

In less than half an hour we arrive at the Arequipa Airport and say goodbye to our guide and driver who had been with us for several days

Once at Lima Airport we ordered some breakfast … which actually was delicious!!!

After a two hour flight we arrive at Quito Airport in Ecuador

The best form of transport for us to the hotel was by bus to the main city bus depot and then a taxi to our hotel

The weather in Quito looked slightly overcast and the temperature on our arrival was around 18 degrees C

Once in the taxi we are driven to our accommodation for the night at the Swisse Hotel

Tonight we have an early night as we are collected very early in the morning for our flight from Quito to the wonderful Galapagos Islands
