2018-06-14 Playa de Magaluf to Real Club Nautico de Palma, Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Spain Morning time in Playa de Magaluf Fountainhead, a rather large vessel moored nearby In 2011 we first saw this boat in Trogir in Croatia Mid morning we depart for Palma to prepare for our guests who are arriving the following day Nice waterfront homes as we approach the city Within an hour we approach the port of Palma Passing yet another elegant motor vessel leaving the popular Mallorcan port It is hard to miss the large Cathedral of Palma on arrival It is rare not to see a huge cruise ship near the entrance of the port A familiar scene of a multitude of masts and large super yachts as we enter Puerto de Palma de Mallorca The Bellver Castle, one of the few circular castles in Europe, was built in the 1400s by James II. It stands on a hill overlooking the large harbour about 3 km west of the centre of Palma We booked a berth for a couple of days at the Real Club Nautico de Palma. It gave us the opportunity to get the boat cleaned up, provisions bought and washing done before our guest arrive the following day Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
