Once again we decide to drive as far as the next large town of Tarragona where we want to visit an IKEA outlet
Near Tarragona there is a huge industrial area comprising of many power stations
Once off the highway we pass several wineries
The scenery overlooking the hills was spectacular
Remains of an old fort nestled amongst modern buildings looks out of place
On arrival near Tarragona, the IKEA outlet happened to be the storage facility for IKEA in Spain…..the nearest shop was close to Barcelona!!! Too far to drive today!!
As we head back, there was no shortage of trucks on the road…….we must have passed hundreds, all heading in the same direction

The gentlemen are all gathered today for their late afternoon get together
Tonight we again try Mar y Luz…. Ric remembers the fabulous steaks we had here last year
A good vino tinto to have with our steaks
We enjoyed the generous portion of delicious mussels to start with
The steaks both arrived blue however after a second grilling they were perfectly cooked and tender
