We take the opportunity to get some exercise and walk into town for a late Sunday lunch
Once again we return to Taverna Dalmau
Beautiful warm and still weather today so we sit out on the sidewalk
It is not long before the tables are full
Ernesto proudly showing the large lobster he is preparing for some other patrons
A nice chilled vino tinto was recommended by Ernesto today
We start again with our fresh tomato and tuna dish……the tastiest tomatoes ever!!
Ernesto especially prepared a seafood risotto for us today with crab, mussels, prawns, squid and pippies
We take our time enjoying the wonderful risotto
Ric loves the sweets…..apple pie with plenty of icecream and cream!!
After lunch to get some exercise we strolled through the main square
…… and the old narrow streets
……and then down to the main port of the town
Sant Carles de la Rapita has a very large flotilla of fishing boats which go out every day except Sundays
Fishing is one of the main industries of the town

We enjoy the pleasant walk back to the marina along the main promenade
After a lovely day out we return to our home for the next 5 months
