2016-08-31 Cadaques to Cala Guillola, Costa Brava, Spain
This morning the wind has eased and we decided to go back east to one of the bays in the national park which we hurried past a few days agoAs we leave we dodge the young students of the wind surfing school in Cadaques
We enjoyed our couple of days on a mooring buoy in the delightful town of CadaquesNumerous buoyed small bays are very popular here in the summer months in the Cap de Creus which is a peninsular around 25 kms south from the French border
Day trips out of Puerto de Roses take many holiday makers out for the day to Cap de Creus
We decide to go into Cala Guillola which looked very pleasantIn the bay we anchored well out from one of the small beaches which looked accessed by foot from a nearby roadA few yachts had anchored in little coves of the bay
We were intrigued when we saw a small boat with a huge bucket of flowers head towards the beach, once arriving attracting numerous of the beach goersWe discovered this innovative man had a coffee and drinks business happening in the popular bayIt wasn’t long before a couple of jet skis both with two people aboard wave to the coffee man!!
An amazing amount of fish in the bay who were very happy to have some of our old breadFor dinner we have a fabulous steak Ric cooked on the barbecue
