We leave the busy port of Genoa and continue south west along the Italian coast

After an hour of motoring along the coast we pass the town of Arenzano

We motor past the port of Savona, the 5th largest port in Italy which mainly handles coal and oil

The town of Savona, which has many very old buildings, is reasonably sophisticated with good shopping, restaurants and is a popular beach resort
In the distance we can see Isola Bergeggi by the town of Vado
In the distance near Vado we can see Isola Bergeggi which apparently is covered with olive trees and is now a marine protected area which encompasses part of the coast too
Just south of the island is the medieval town of Noli
