2016-05-31 Castelsardo to Baia Repatarta, Capo Testa, Sardinia
This morning we depart the marina by Castelsardo
Looking back to western side of the impressive medieval castle and walled town of Castelsardo
Continuing north east along the northern coast we approach Capo TestaAs we travel, in the distance looking north we can see a large motor yacht passing the limestone cliffs of Bonifacio on the southern coastline of CorsicaCapo Testa is the most northern point of mainland SardiniaAmazing unusual wind sculptured rocks can be found around this rugged promontoryCapo Testa has a sheltered bay tucked behind it called Baia ReparataWe decided to drop our anchor in this bay as it was known to be good shelter for an overnight stay in most conditionsAttractively painted houses clustered together in one section of the circular bayBaia Reparata seems to be a very popular holiday and beach destinationWe had some feathered visitors while in the bay
Ric cooked a well laden pizza for our early dinner tonight
At sunset another yacht joins us in the bay for the night
