Another overcast cool morning

There seems to be a crowd of people on the beach in the distance this morning, all in jumpers and jackets

This morning we make a move from our overnight stay in Spiaggia della Pelosa

The port of Stintino is a short distance away

We try and get a berth in the main port, called Porto Mannu

Fortunately a berth was available on the northern shore of the town port

We take a walk to get some exercise and have a look around Stintino

Porto Mannu is mainly for local boats

During our walk around Stintino we noticed how much pride the locals have of their town and their history. Many copies of old photos and wonderful large murals covered the walls of many local buildings. The town was also very clean and tidy and houses were all nicely painted

We return to the boat after a long walk around the town

We go back to the Tangaroa after a nice long walk around the lovely little town

By late afternoon the sun was shining bright and the weather seemed to have warmed up

We return to the town to have a drink and later have dinner

The Church of the Immacolata

This evening there was a procession that left the church and continued around the town blessing certain houses

This evening there was a procession that left the church and continued around the town blessing certain buildings and homes

Priests led the procession and were followed by a musical band

Then came this procession, followed by and a large group of local people

Then came this group with a priest holding a religious icon which is obviously used in the blessings. Local people, some in uniform followed the religious procession around the town
