From the castle you can see the continuation upstream of River Temo The humble 4th century chapel, ‘Chiesa di Nostra Signora di Regnos Altos’ is all that stands in the castle walls The interior of the chapel with it’s extraordinary 14th Century frescos Back down to the bikes to continue or sightseeing tour of the area …. and we slowly cycle back down to the town Nostra Signora del Carmelo We ride through Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main street of Bosa The popular Constitution Square in the heart of the town The main street with it’s delightful multi storied houses with balconies and colourful floral displays The little Church of the Rosario, with its characteristic prejoceting two-faced clock and a high bell tower Cattedrale dell’Immacolata The wonderful interior of the Cathedral Looking towards the Cathedral from the Ponte Vecchio Ponte Vecchio We ride out on Via Nazionale to the old harbour I stop on the way to get a few more shots of the colourful houses of Bosa and the Malaspina Castle looming above From the other size of the river we see the Tangaroa again The popular beach at the Bosa old harbour 3kms from the town We take a short cut back to the town Dinner tonight at the restaurant in the Hotel Mannu, called Giancarlo e Rita We try another good Sardinian red tonight Delicious Octopus to share for starters Our expert waiter debones and serves our fish Our Sardinian favourite, fish in the oven with potato and tomato …..and grilled vegetables The traditional Sardinian dessert, Seadas which is a fritter filled with cheese, deep fried and served with honey – delicious!!
