South of Nuoro in the mountains is Orgosolo. This previously notorious town is now on the map for the many controvertial murals here

The road conditions worsen and we find ourselves on a rough dirt road

Nevertheless the scenery was stunning although it probably took us a few hours longer to get across the mountains!!

Finally we arrive back in Cagliari at 7.30pm after a long day visiting many towns and getting lost in the mountains!!!
