2015-10-04 Arbatax to Marina di Villaputzu, Porto Corallo, Sardinia Italy
Slightly overcast this morning as we make an early start from Arbatax
The locals are already out fishing by the entrance to the portThe cloud formations look quite amazing towards the north as we leave the harbourAround the point heading south, the red rock by Arbatax makes a spectacular view
We pass the hillside town of Tertenia as we continue southOne of the only boats we saw during our trip south from ArbataxIn several points along the coast we passed a few wind farms and communication receiversThe beach by the small town of Quira goes for many miles along the coastWe decide to take a break and drop anchor by this beach and have one of our last swims for the seasonWe approach Marina di Villaputzu in Porto CoralloOne of the many lookouts to be found vitually on most of the significant points along the coast of Sardinia
Marina di Villaputzu is one of the few safe anchorages for the night on the south east coast of Sardinia
