2015-08-06 Cala di Corricella, Isola di Procida, Campania Italy Tangaroa in Cala di Corricella By dinghy we go around the point to the other side of the town Procida Marina Good shopping in the old town of Sancio Cattolico A lovely view of Cala Corricella from the town above Tangaroa can be seen in the distance in the bay Opposite the day tripper boats and the ferry terminal are numerous restaurants and shops There are also many fishing boats in the port Ric gets a hand with all our groceries The patron saint of Procida overlooks the harbour Parents keeping an eye on the young sailors Back around the point to Cala di Corricella By dinghy we get a few close up photos of the small Cala di Corricella port Early evening we go ashore Fishing nets are all neatly covered in the pretty port We take a walk up and over the hill passing the conspicious Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie Giovanna had some lovely dresses in her boutique We stop for a cocktail at the Dal Cavaliere We meet a group of French sailors at the next table who are out sailing for a couple of weeks Joelle has a daughter interested in visiting Australia We return to our small port down the narrow laneways We arrive at the busy Calacole Restaurant and we were lucky enough get a table set up for us on a small terrace Another young smiley patron in the restaurant The most amazing aubergine dish we have ever tried!!! Beautifully chilled Frassitelli Fresh fish baked with a salt crust Ric happy with his fish or was it the wine!!
