The wonderful restaurant, La Conca del Sogno which we visited last night for dinnerWe leave the mooring in Cala Punta di Sogno and move around the point to the next bayWe are keen to try the long established restaurant called Maria GraziaWe pick up one of the Maria Grazia restaurant buoys and make a late lunch booking in order to stay on the mooring overnightAt around 3 pm we are collected by the restaurant boat and taken ashore to the jettyThere are many families enjoying the lovely warm weather on the beach here by NeranoIt must still be siesta time for some peopleWe are looking forward to our late lunch at Maria Grazia which was established in 1901The view of hundreds of boats of all sizes in the bayTangaroa is in good company in the bay todayWe order a jug of the house speciality, white wine with peaches

We try a nice chilled Italian vino biancoMaria Grazia’s house kitten makes itself comfortable between the tables
One of Maria Grazia’s signature dishes is the fabulous Spaghetti with Courgettes, which we all tasted by ordering a couple of platesA couple of seafood pasta dishes were ordered also which were deliciousAlthough we had a lot of small dishes to share we took our time so that we could try some of the amazing desserts that we had seen go by earlierA small ferry arrives at the pier with hardly standing room aboard for the passengersLovely Lime PuddingAmazing chocolate cakeFabulous Rum BabbaSensational Strawberry CakeWonderfully friendly and helpful mine host, Salvatore with his Father and Uncle relax before the dinner guests arriveLimoncello made in the house by Salvatore himselfLuciano takes us back to the Tangaroa around 7pmTime for us all to put our feet upAfter a long lunch it was certainly time to relaxRic relaxes by getting his phone out as usual!!Around 8.30 pm we notice flames behind the restaurant we had just been to for our long lunch20 minutes later the fire was halfway up the hill threatening a couple of houses10 minutes later the flames were at the top of the hill and many fire sirens could be heard – fortunately the fire missed the houses due to a wind change!
