13th July 2013 Lipsoi to Kos We Depart Lovely Lipsoi to Make Our Way Back South to Kos The Fabulous Bay Where we Spent the Prior Afternoon Having a Late Lunch Approaching the Old Port of Kos Well Preserved Ancient Ruins Almost Surround the Old Harbour Area No Room in the Old Port so we go to the Kos Marina Luckily we Managed to get the Last Berth at the End Wall of the Kos Marina A Busy Time of the Year – Not a Space Available Tangaroa at the End of the Outer Pier The Main Road Along the Foreshore in Kos – You have to be Careful of the Cyclists, It is not Safe to Walk on the Cycle Track Plenty of Ancient Ruins in the Old Port Customs are Organised at the Port Authority So Many Bars and Restaurants in Kos which do not have Patrons until Very Late Late Afternoon in the Town Square Today’s Choice for Dinner Prepon has Only Been Open for a few Months A Large Fresh Greek Salad to Share All of Us Decided on the Traditional Moussaka Fresh from the Oven for Dinner Tonight which were Very Tasty Our Last Night Together Before Rod & Kate Leave us to continue the Rest of Their 3 Month Holiday Great Bike which Comes wiith a Private Security Guard The Masts in the Marina Seem to go for Miles and Miles !!
