Etore has been very busy working on the TangaroaHe has been painting, antifouling, cleaning and polishing the exterior of the boatTangaroa is looking wonderful!!!With the work almost complete, we appear to be locked in behind the other boats in the yardAs we leave the marina we decide to go for a drive to Cagliari which is less than 30 minutes awayToday is another one of those days that we wish the Tangaroa would be already in the water and we would be underwayBack to Cagliari……with it’s lovely buildings…….smart cafes and bars……..and interesting people and their pets
We decide to have a drink and then have an early dinner in Cagliari before going back to the hotelAn ancient building very close to the restaurant we have chosen to try for dinnerOn a very reliable recommendation we decided to try AnticaCagliari Ristorante on via La SardegnaLike most restaurants in Italy they only start to get busy after 8.30 pm so there was no problem for us arriving at 7.30 pmI loved these glasses!!Mussels in delicious picante fresh tomato sauce to shareWe both had the lobster pasta which was amazing!!!A plate of wonderful grilled vegetables on the sideThe typical Sardinian cheese filled dessert with orange sauce was a lovely finish to a wonderful dinner
