Hello,

Found your blog yesterday when approaching Porto Cervo. Love the pictures and descriptions, very helpful in choosing anchorages. We are Aussies from Sydney, in a sailing boat, Sea Cloud, heading for La Maddalena, working our way across to Mallorca next week. Love your boat- what type is it?

  La Maddalena Islands are wonderful! We left the Tangaroa (Menorquin 160) in Marina di Capitana, near Cagliari, southern Sardinia over winter last year and spent quite a bit of time around La Maddalena Islands before heading south in Oct. The cruising in Sardinia and Corsica for us this year has been outstanding. At present we are in Elba, which we love and then we will return to the Italian coast and continue up and then on to France. We have been thinking about finishing up in the Baleares this year in Oct. Who knows!!
